At the age of 18, Alexis left the cornfields of Iowa for the streets of London where she studied photography at the London College of Fashion. After college, Alexis began her assisting career at “POP” Magazine, where she was able to gain some of her first on set experiences with “POP’s” Editor, Katie Grand.

When she moved to New York in 2003, Alexis continued to pursue photography. She also assisted and learned different aesthetics of fashion styling with Joe McKenna, Andrew Richardson and the photographer’s they work with.

With her latest venture as a publicist in the press department at Yohji Yamamoto, Alexis styled several of Yohji’s Y’s catalogs, where she continued to develop her understanding of some of the Fashion Industry’s most talented contributors.

Alexis is currently based in New York.
